The ZOLL E-Series Defibrillator Monitor is designed for the rigors of an EMS environment. Chest compression rates and depth are measured in real time, both visual and optional audible feedback systems are provided. ECG signal processing extracts CPR artifacts so you can see organized rhythms without interrupting compressions. The E-Series Monitor comes with a patient connection of 3, 5, or 12 lead ECG cable, paddles or MFE pads, selected from the front panel switch. This defibrillator is fully protected with a special circuit that prevents distortions of ECG by pacer pulse. It also offers a heart rate alarm to indicate tachycardia or bradycardia.
ZOLL Rectilinear Biphasic (what is used to form the waveform on the E Series Defibrillator) has a 6 second charge time when fully charged. There are energy displays that indicate both selected and delivered energy. The multi-function electrode pads are included. Built-in Defibrillator tester provides verification of the defibrillator charging and discharging without removing paddles from storage.
The defibrillator has an RS232 port for data transfer cable to PC and integrated Bluetooth. Also included is a fax modem card for transmission to group 3 class fax machines and a Bluetooth pod option for sending 12-lead ECG via Bluetooth enabled cell phone to Fax or GE MUSE system.
